English onlySwap BNB to USDT on BSC
This is a same-network swap, not a bridge. BNB and USDT both live on BNB Smart Chain; 0x finds the best route across PancakeSwap and other DEXes, and you sign in your wallet.
How a same-chain swap works
A swap exchanges one token for another on the same blockchain. On BSC the app asks 0x for a quote, and 0x compares liquidity across DEXes such as PancakeSwap. The quote you see is the route that was found for that amount at that moment — large trades can be split across several pools to reduce price impact.
Splot is the interface, not the market maker. The trade executes in 0x's contracts and the tokens move in the same transaction. Splot never holds the BNB or the USDT.
Step by step
- Open the app on BSC with BNB as the sell token and USDT as the buy token.
- Connect MetaMask, Trust Wallet or any WalletConnect wallet on BNB Smart Chain.
- Enter the BNB amount and wait for the quote. Check the amount out, minimum after slippage and price impact.
- If USDT has not been used from this wallet before, approve the contract for exactly the amount you are swapping — not an unlimited allowance.
- Confirm the swap in your wallet. Gas is paid in BNB.
- Check the transaction in BscScan. The app keeps a local history of what you started.
What it costs
Splot charges 0.15% when the route supports it, and the quote shows it as a separate line with the amount in USDT. Network gas is paid in BNB. The 0x fee appears when the route charges one, and DEX pool fees are already inside the rate you are quoted.
The quote always shows the minimum you receive after slippage. If the market moves beyond your slippage tolerance before the transaction confirms, the swap reverts instead of filling at a worse price.
Price impact and size
Price impact is the difference between the market price and the price your route actually gets. Small trades on deep pools have almost none; a large trade against a thin pool can be expensive. The app shows the impact and asks for confirmation above 5%.
If the impact looks high, try a smaller amount, split the trade, or check a route with deeper liquidity. A better headline rate can still be a worse trade once gas and fees are included.
Approvals, and how to undo them
The first time you swap a token such as USDT, your wallet asks you to allow the 0x contract to spend it. Splot requests only the amount you are swapping. You can revoke that allowance at any time at revoke.cash; a later swap will simply ask again.
When a bridge makes more sense
If the USDT you want is on another chain, a swap on BSC is not enough: that is a bridge, and it has its own route, fees and timing. Splot shows the difference in the app — same network is a swap, two networks is a bridge. Never send BEP20 USDT to a Tron address, or the reverse, outside a bridge that knows both sides.
Before you sign
- You are on BNB Smart Chain and the wallet holds enough BNB for gas.
- The quote is fresh — the app refreshes it and blocks signing when it expires.
- Price impact and the minimum after slippage are acceptable.
- You understand that token swaps carry risk and Splot does not give investment advice.
