Risk disclosure

Splot is non-custodial pre-alpha software. You sign every transaction in your own wallet, and the risks below are yours. Do not use amounts you cannot afford to lose.

Version 2026-10-31. This English version is the binding one; the Terms of Use apply in full.

You keep custody — and the keys

Splot never holds your funds, never asks for a seed phrase or private key, and cannot sign for you. Every transaction is prepared in your browser and signed in your own wallet.

If your device, browser extension or wallet is compromised, or you sign the wrong transaction, the funds can be lost and cannot be recovered by Splot.

Smart-contract risk

A swap or bridge goes through third-party contracts: routers, pools, allowance holders and bridge protocols. A contract can be exploited, paused, upgraded or behave unexpectedly.

Splot routes through audited infrastructure where possible, but an audit is not a guarantee. You accept the contract risk of every route you sign.

Bridge risk

A bridge is two transactions on two networks. The source transaction cannot be recalled once it is mined.

The destination transfer can be delayed, fail, or arrive with a different amount than quoted. If a bridge is slow, check the source explorer and /status; do not resend the same transaction, because that can pay twice.

Market, slippage and MEV risk

Prices move between the quote and execution. Slippage, price impact and MEV can make the executed amount worse than the quote; the minimum received is shown before you sign.

Very large or very small orders can have no route, or a route with high price impact. From 5% impact Splot blocks the signature on purpose.

Pre-alpha software

Splot is pre-alpha. Features, supported networks, routes and fees can change or stop working without notice. Expect bugs.

Do not use amounts you cannot afford to lose. Keep your own records of transactions and use a hardware wallet for significant amounts where possible.

Regulatory and tax risk

Access to some networks, tokens or services may be restricted in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with local law and for any taxes on your transactions.

Nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice. Splot does not recommend any token, network or amount.

Third-party services

On-ramp partners, wallet apps, RPC providers, data providers and explorers are separate services with their own terms, availability and privacy policies. An outage or policy change at one of them can affect what you see or whether a route works.

Questions and security reports
