Help

Short answers to the things that usually cause a support message. Splot is non-custodial: you sign every transaction in your own wallet.

Simple mode

Simple mode is one card: pick a pair, enter an amount and sign in your wallet. The quote shows the amount you receive, the minimum after slippage and every fee as a separate row.

History is shared with Pro. The mode switch in the header carries the same pair to Pro and remembers the choice in this browser.

Pro mode

Pro adds a chart, a liquidity ladder, price alerts, a portfolio view and tabs for bridge, ladder, alerts and history. The order panel shows the fees and the route before you sign.

The mode switch keeps the pair. On a phone the order panel becomes a bottom sheet and the sidebar becomes a drawer.

Slippage

Slippage is the worst price you accept between the quote and execution. 0.5% means the swap will revert rather than fill below the minimum shown in the order panel.

Stable pairs usually need 0.1–0.5%. Volatile tokens or larger sizes often need 1%. A revert is not a loss of funds; it costs only gas.

Hops

A hop is one leg of the route — one pool or one split of the order. One hop is a direct swap. More hops can mean better liquidity and price, but usually more gas and complexity.

Hops are not a fee. The full source list is in the route details before you sign.

Fees

Splot charges the fee shown in the quote (currently 0.15% on a swap). On a bridge, the quote lists the Splot fee, the bridge fee and gas as separate rows; if a fee is not in the quote, you do not pay it.

The final amount and the minimum received are always shown before you sign.

Bridges

A bridge is two transactions on two chains. The source transaction is signed first; the destination is delivered by the bridge tool. Source and destination links appear under the bridge panel.

Before the wallet prompt, EVM transactions are checked with eth_call and Solana transactions are simulated through the API. A failed simulation stops the flow and shows the last program logs.

If it takes longer than the quoted time, open the source explorer and /status. Do not resend the same bridge — that can pay twice.

Risk checks

Price impact compares the quote with the market price. From 2% the order panel warns; from 5% Splot will not sign and asks for a smaller amount or a deeper pair.

Slippage is capped at 1% in the UI, and the API rejects values above 50%. The minimum you receive is always shown before signing.

Solana shows the SPL balance and the SOL balance; the network fee is paid from that SOL, so the panel warns when it is too low for a transaction.

Approvals

Splot approves the exact amount, never an unlimited allowance. The approvals card lists the 0x and LI.FI allowances for the selected token and lets you revoke them.

USDT on Ethereum requires a reset to zero before a new approval; Splot does it automatically.

Wallets

EVM spot and EVM bridges use MetaMask, another injected wallet or WalletConnect. Tron uses TronLink. Solana uses a Wallet Standard wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack).

On a phone with no wallet inside the browser, Splot offers MetaMask and Trust Wallet deep links that reopen this page inside the wallet app. WalletConnect is offered when the build has a Reown project id; without it the button is hidden and the rest of the app still works.

Chart, alerts and history

In Pro, charts use DEX pool data fetched by our server (currently GeckoTerminal) and refresh about every 60 s. The provider may change without changing the app.

Price alerts are local to this browser and run only while the page is open. Browser notifications appear only if you allow them.

History is shared by Simple and Pro and stored in this browser, not on a server. Export CSV downloads what is on screen; import accepts the same format. Clearing browser data removes it.

Troubleshooting

Rate limited: the API allows 180 requests per minute per client; wait for Retry-After and try again.

No route: try a different amount or pair. Very small and very large amounts are treated as no route by the upstream.

Simulation reverted: refresh the quote. The pre-sign eth_call or Solana simulation caught a transaction that would fail.

Price impact above 5%: the amount is large for this pair. Split it or choose a deeper market; the signature is blocked on purpose.

Blank page: make sure JavaScript is enabled and open the link in a current browser (Chrome, Safari or Edge).

Still stuck? Check /status first; it separates an API problem from a market-data problem. Read the risk disclosure and terms too.
