Guide · Tron ↔ BNB Smart Chain
English onlyBridge USDT between Tron and BSC
A bridge moves value between two blockchains. On this corridor the asset is USDT: TRC20 on Tron, BEP20 on BNB Smart Chain. Splot compares the route for you and shows the fees before you sign — from your own wallet, in both directions.
Why a bridge instead of a swap
A swap exchanges one token for another on the same network. A bridge moves the same asset from one network to another. USDT on Tron and USDT on BSC are separate tokens on separate chains, so moving between them is a bridge even though the symbol does not change.
Splot routes bridges through LI.FI, which aggregates bridge protocols. On Tron → BSC that means LayerSwap is part of the route. You see the tool and the fee breakdown in the quote before anything is signed.
Both directions
Tron → BSC: sell USDT on Tron and receive USDT on BNB Smart Chain. You need TronLink for the source and an EVM address for the destination.
BSC → Tron: sell USDT on BSC and receive USDT on Tron. You need an EVM wallet for the source and TronLink for the destination. The app asks for the receive address when the two sides use different address formats, so a BSC address is never reused as a Tron address by accident.
What it costs and what is shown
- Splot fee: 0.15% when the route supports it, always shown as its own line in the quote.
- Bridge fees: the LI.FI fee and the bridge protocol fee, shown in token and in USD.
- Network gas: TRX on Tron, BNB on BSC — the estimate is in the quote.
- The quote also shows the minimum you receive after slippage. That is the number to compare, not the headline rate.
No account, no merchant
P2P works, but it depends on a merchant, an escrow step and a spread you have to negotiate. An exchange withdrawal needs an account and KYC, and the withdrawal fee depends on the exchange. Splot is neither: there is no Splot account, no deposit address and no merchant in the middle. The transaction is signed in your wallet and the bridge protocol handles the transfer.
That also means no customer balance to freeze and nothing to withdraw from Splot. It does not mean the bridge cannot be delayed, and it does not remove the risk of sending to the wrong address.
Follow the transfer
Every bridge starts with a source transaction. Keep its hash. The app stores it locally so a refresh does not lose it, and Track your bridge can look it up from any device when you paste the hash and choose the source and destination networks.
Block explorers remain the source of truth. If the app says pending, check the source explorer first, then the destination explorer after a few minutes.
Before you sign
- The receive address is on the correct network and you control it.
- The amount, minimum after slippage and every fee line match what you expect.
- You have enough of the native token for gas: TRX on Tron, BNB on BSC.
- You accept the bridge risk. Splot does not custody funds and does not give investment advice.
